As a travel writer and family man, I can attest that Windang Tourist Park offers a truly comfortable stay for families visiting the South Coast of NSW. Our three-bedroom cabin was spacious and clean, perfect for settling in after a scenic drive from Sydney. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, even without water views. The kids loved fishing at the lake, which is an easy stroll from the park, and we made the most of the nearby hiking paths that meander through picturesque landscapes. During our downtimes, we indulged in some excellent fish and chips from the shop just around the corner. It's a fantastic spot if you're seeking local flavors. And for those looking for culinary experiences, Wollongong's seafood scene is an easy drive away. While the single beds were a bit firm for our teenager, it didn't hinder our overall enjoyment. It was a lovely getaway, filled with activities like cycling along the coast. We're looking forward to returning and creating more cherished family memories.
